1. What is an Independent Bottler?
When it comes to whisky and rum, there are two mains types of bottles available on the market – Original Bottler/Bottling (OB) and Independent Bottler/Bottling (IB). OBs are whiskies/rums that have been distilled, matured, bottled and released by the distillery themselves. IBs are whiskies/rums that have been sourced, selected and bottled by independent companies to be sold under their own label. There are several IBs (such as Cadenhead, Gordon & Macphail, Signatory Vintages, SMWS etc). But Blackadder is one of the few IBs that have the ability to source for whisky casks from various hard to acquire and closed distilleries such as as Chichibu (Japan) and Glen Esk (closed distillery).
2. How do I make a purchase on INTERCO-MLE?
It is simple! No registration is required. Just add your desired products into your basket. Click on the shopping cart icon at the top right corner when you are done with your choices to review the items. You will also be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions of sales. Once done, fill in your delivery address and credit card information (there will be an option for you to save the information in our encrypted database). Once you make the payment, INTERCO-MLE will dispatch your items within the next three working days.
3. Is there an age limit to buy products from INTERCO-MLE?
Yes. In accordance with Singapore Law, no minors below the legal drinking age of 18 years old is allowed to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages. For international customers, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the legality of importing alcoholic beverages into your country of residence. INTERCO-MLE will not be responsible for any infringement of the law in your country of residence.
4. Can I order in large quantities?
For most bottles, we do not limit the number of bottles you order (only for Shizuoka limited releases), but we reserve the rights to cancel the order and refund your payment if we have reasonable suspicions that you are buying a product in large quantities for reselling or exporting, or if you are a distributor or dealer.
5. What are the modes of payment?
We accept all Credit Card payments online as well as Paypal and Alipay Global.
6. What are the customer service hours?
You can call us at (+65) 9115-8834 from Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 6.00pm or send an email to email@example.com at any time. For all email enquiries, we will strive to reply within two to three working days. For urgent matters, please call us during our office hours.
7. What is your Returns Policy?
We value our customers and are happy to accept returns of products that are delivered damaged. We do not expect this to happen but in the event that it does, please email us with a photo of the damaged bottle within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate and offer a re-delivery within 5 working days after we verify the incident with our delivery team. A refund will be offered instead if the item is sold out.
8. Do you ship to a PO Box or internationally?
We are not able to ship to a PO Box as we need a person above 18 years old to receive the order. And yes, we can arrange international shipments too. However, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to get a shipping quote before placing an order through our website. If you prefer to place your order via email, you are more than welcome to do so.
9. I am an overseas customer, can I purchase Blackadder Products?
For Blackadder bottling, the list of country distributors are listed at http://www.blackadder.nu/distributors-and-stockists/. Please approach your country’s distributors to purchase the bottles. If there are no distributors in your country, we will be glad to arrange shipping to you.
10. Can you arrange for insurance?
Yes. We can arrange insurance for your purchases.
